The thermoformed back, ergonomic shoulder straps and hip belt help the Cross Rider hug the body rather than moving around during active pursuits. For adventurous types, skis can be mounted both diagonally and to the side through Ortovox's wide ski fastener.
For convenience, the pack can be accessed from both front and back, while 'Bright Inside' lighting allows you to quickly locate specific items. The Cross Rider also contains separate compartments for a shovel and probe that keeps emergency equipment within easy reach. Other storage features include fastening options for ice axes and poles, a helmet net to keep your bulky headgear protected from other belongings, and a compartment specifically for maps.
