Terms &Conditions

General:

Goods are subject to availability and may vary from those advertised.

Although we make all reasonable checks to avoid errors, please note that we reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders for items shown on our website with an incorrect price or with any other incorrect information. No contract is made with you until we have dispatched your order. Where we make a mistake we will give you the option to either:

(i) cancel your order and obtain a refund or any sums paid in advance; and/or

(ii) place the order again at the correct price/on the correct terms.

 

Laptop Bags

All Laptop Bags specs are provided by our suppliers and we cannot be held responsible if your laptop does not fit the bag. We will do our best to resolve any issues.

 

Prices and Payment:

Our advertised prices do not include delivery. The price of the goods may be changed from what is advertised.

We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque, and most types of credit or debit card. Credit card and debit card payments are taken at the point of customer order, not on dispatch of goods.

 

Promotions:

ePacks run promotions from time to time,

The 10% discount code can only be used on Bags which are not under promotion i.e:

(i) FREE WALLET PROMOTION

(ii) FREE BAG PROMOTION or any other promotions running at that point of time.

 

or items which have been reduced i.e sale items.

 

 

 

Delivery

We use 3rd party logistics, meaning our handling, shipping, distribution, warehousing and fulfilment are outsourced. The fulfilment centre picks and packs all our goods. We do not have control over the packing of the goods. Orders recieved by 12:00 pm on a working day are normally processed the same day. Orders after this time are processed the next working day. Express delivery ordered after this time are procssed next working day. Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) orders are processed on Monday

We charge for all deliveries.  Orders placed at weekends or Bank Holidays are normally processed the next working day. Goods in stock are normally delivered the next working day after processing. Unfortuntely we do not ship to Jersey. For special delivery requirements (e.g. Guaranteed Next Day Delivery) – there will be an additional charge. We will use reasonable endeavours to notify you of any delivery delays and reconfirm a new delivery date/time with you.  

Delivery Services

Royal Mail Tracked 2-4 working days (signature not required, item is tracked up until delivery. If customer not in, item will be left in a safe place or returned to us.)

 

Royal Mail 1st class Standard 1-2  working days (signature not required, If customer not in, item will be left held at local Royal Mail sorting office for 7 days and will then be returned to us.)

 

Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded  1-2 working days (signature required, If customer not in, item will be left held at local Royal Mail sorting office for 7 days and will then be returned to us.)

Royal Mail Special Delivery Next day before 1pm (excluding weekends, bank holidays) (signature required, If customer not in, item will be left held at local Royal Mail sorting office for 7 days and will then be returned to us.)

Royal Mail Airsure (Rest of World) 5-7 working days (signature required, if customer not in, item will be returned to us.) If you do not receive your item after 7 working days, please contact us via email custserv@epacks.co.uk or by phone 0044 1535 680455.)

 

DHL 24 – 1 working day (signature required, If customer not in, re-delivery will be attempted up to 3 times. If still not delivered item will be returned to us.

 

DHL 48 – 1-2 working days (signature required, if customer not in, re-delivery will be attempted up to 3 times. If still not delivered item will be returned to us.

If item is returned to us after delivery has been attempted, a re-delivery charge will apply.

Delivery time starts from when the item is dispatched, not from when item is ordered. 

If the goods do not arrive / are incomplete / are the wrong goods / are damaged when you open them, you must inform our Customer Services Department within 48 Hours of receipt or expected delivery. You can contact us at 01535 680455.

If you wish to change delivery address please notify us within 24 hours, as the address cannot be changed once item has been dispatched.

Risk passes to you on delivery. After delivery you are responsible for protecting and insuring the goods against loss, damage or destruction.

Postage costs

£2.99 – 10.00  UK Postage Costs

7.99 – 29.99   International Postage Costs

Postage costs vary depending on weight and destination.

 

 

Returns & Errors

We at ePacks like our customers to shop in complete peace of mind and hence accept returns for a full 28 days from the date of your purchase. So, you can go ahead and shop with confidence!!  

 Please note:

       * You can return the bag within 7 days for an exchange or a full refund

       * After 7 days(till the 28th day), we would be able to process exchange only.

 

Faulty items:

 

We will accept returns of faulty goods notified to us within 14 days of delivery, subject to the terms of the manufacturer's warranty.

 

If your bag develops a fault after 14 days:

(i)  you must return the faulty bag to us along with detail about fault

(ii)  you will have to pay the postage cost of return.

(iii) We will then forward the bag to the manufacturer for repair.

(iv) once item has been repaired it will be returned to us and then we will return the item to you.

(v)  postage costs for returning the item must also be covered by you.

Repair of faulty items can take up to 3 weeks.

 

In the unfortunate event that you need to return an item please follow the steps below:

  • Contact us either via phone or email (with subject as ‘RETURNS’)
  • Once we are informed, send us the bag with a copy of the receipt, and a note stating why you are returning the bag along with the following details:

                  (i)  Your name

                  (ii) Your address

                  (iii) Model name of bag

                  (iv) Date of purchase

                  (v) Channel of purchase (Our website/Amazon/eBay)

  • All returns need to be sent to the following address:

  • Once we receive your bag, we will refund the money to your account right away.

 

NOTE:

  • In case you are returning the bag, the bag should be unused and in the condition which you received it.
  • We strongly recommend that you return the item via ‘signed for delivery’, as in the unfortunate event of the bag getting lost in post, we cannot be held liable for it.
  •  The customer will have to bear the return charges.
  • An admin fee may apply depending on the price of the bag. 

    This fee is for inspection, re-stocking and handling the item back into the fulfilment centre warehouse, which we use 3PL, 3rd party Logistics, Ogden Fulfilment Centre, Keighley. Typical admin fee would be 2-6%.

Warranty

We do not offer warranty as a retailer, the Warranty is from our suppliers/manufacturers, Eastpak,  JanSport, Dakine, EVOC and CamelBak

You will get the benefit of the manufacturer's warranty in respect of all the goods we sell. Please note that we do not provide any warranties ourselves in respect of the goods and all other warranties and representations, whether expressed or implied, by statute, common law or of any other kind are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. Any goods unrepaired/repaired by warranty which are sent back to us (epacks). They will be a carriage charge to re-deliver goods back to the customer. 

 

 

Eastpak Warranty

Eastpak guarantees its products against possible defects in materials and workmanship it offers a standard warranty of 30 years on all regular products (packs, bags and luggage). Where such defects occur Eastpak will repair or replace the item in question.

The 30 year warranty does not include certain 'special' products, such as those made of a limited edition 'fashion' fabric or construct; these come with a 2 year warranty.
If you are not sure which warranty is the right one for your Eastpak please check the hangtag that comes on your bag at purchase, this will clearly state the relevant warranty term.

The warranty is limited up the value of the Eastpak in question and is only valid when the product is used for the purpose it was intended under normal conditions. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by normal wear & tear, neglect, misuse, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, acids or solvents; nor does it cover damage caused by third parties during transportation (such as airline travel).

JanSport Warranty

JanSport will repair or, if necessary, replace any product with defect in material or workmanship for free. Please, read the conditions in the JanSport guarantee terms.

You can use the following document PDF to have your JanSport bag repaired. Fill in this form and send it together with the faulty JanSport to the address given on the form. All repairs must be sent out to Germany. 

 

Please send clean bags to JanSport Warranty. You may wash your JanSport with water and a mild soap (when washing your bag, if your bag has a leather-covered base, protect it from getting wet). Do not use a washing machine to wash your JanSport as it may harm your bag, which will not be covered by our guarantee. After washing your JanSport, hang it up to dry (do not machine dry).

This Agreement and any contracts made under it are subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to all matters (whether based on contractual or non-contractual rights and obligations).
